It averages over 1,100 aircraft movements per day! The two runways (07L/25R, 07R/25L) provide an easy yet scenic approach for fliers of any experience.
Hong Kong offers an unusual challenge at it's now closed airport located in Kowloon Bay. Kai Tak airport is very famous for it's “checkerboard approach” into runway 13 that takes aircraft low over the city toward a mountain before leading to a tight right-hand turn to the runway.
